Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced and demanding environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, with a deep understanding of Angular, Node.js, and relational databases. This role will involve leading development projects, utilizing test-driven development (TDD) practices, and contributing to our event-driven architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead development projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Utilize test-driven development (TDD) practices to ensure robust and reliable code.
Contribute to the design and implementation of our event-driven architecture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance of existing systems.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to improve our products.

Experience Requirements:

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of software development experience.
Mandatory 2+ years in a VC-funded startup.
Proficiency in Angular is essential.
Strong experience with Node.js and relational databases.
Deep experience with integration testing, load testing, and E2E testing.
Strong understanding and enthusiasm for test-driven development (TDD).
Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS or GCP).
Proven experience with at least one CI/CD platform.
Prior experience in designing and working with event-driven architectures.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Understanding of proxy servers.
A strong attitude to learn and grow using resources like Stack Overflow and GPTs.

Bonus Skills:

Experience with deep integration testing.
E2E testing with Cypress.
Worked with load testing tools.
Experience with Docker.
