Blockchain Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Blockchain Development – Architect, develop, and maintain blockchain runtime and infrastructure using Rust and Substrate.
• Consensus Mechanism Implementation – Implement and optimize customized PoS-based and validator-driven consensus mechanisms.
• Smart Contracts & EVM Compatibility – Enable Ethereum-based dApp deployment and execution on the blockchain.
• Modular Runtime Development – Develop customizable runtime modules to support governance, transaction processing, and business logic execution.
• Security & Cryptographic Implementation – Implement advanced cryptographic security techniques for blockchain transactions and validator governance.
• Interoperability & Cross-Chain Communication – Develop bridging solutions to enable secure asset transfers and data exchanges between different blockchain networks.
• Performance Optimization – Enhance scalability, transaction throughput, and storage efficiency of the blockchain network.
• Testing & Debugging – Conduct unit tests, integration tests, and real-world simulations to ensure system reliability and robustness.
• Collaboration with AI & Infrastructure Teams – Work closely with the AI development team to ensure seamless integration of AI-driven optimizations within the blockchain framework.

Must-Have Skills

• Rust Programming – Strong proficiency in Rust, with experience in systems programming and blockchain-specific optimizations.
• Substrate Framework – Hands-on experience in developing runtime pallets, storage modules, and blockchain-specific logic using Substrate.
• Consensus Mechanisms – Understanding of PoS-based validator selection, slashing mechanisms, and decentralized governance models.
• EVM & Smart Contracts – Experience with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), Solidity, and smart contract execution environments.
• Networking & Node Management – Peer-to-peer (P2P) networking, block propagation, validator setup, and node synchronization.
• Cryptographic Security – Expertise in digital signatures, hashing functions, zero-knowledge proofs (ZKP), and encryption techniques.
• Wasm & Runtime Optimization – Experience working with WebAssembly (Wasm) for blockchain execution.

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

• Cross-Chain Development – Experience with bridging protocols, interoperability layers, and blockchain-to-blockchain integrations.
• Decentralized Governance – Understanding of on-chain governance, token-based voting mechanisms, and upgradable blockchain frameworks.
• AI & Machine Learning – Exposure to AI-powered fraud detection, security enhancements, or blockchain performance optimization.
• Performance Engineering – Experience in blockchain scalability, gas optimization, and transaction throughput enhancements.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in blockchain development.
• 1-3 years of experience in blockchain development, with expertise in Rust and Substrate.
