About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Node.js Developer with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in backend development, particularly using Node.js, SQL, and MongoDB. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining high-performance server-side logic, integrating front-end elements, and leading technical improvements across our backend architecture.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong leadership skills, and is passionate about delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality backend solutions.

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust server-side applications using Node.js and Express.js.
Design and build scalable RESTful APIs for front-end integration.
Optimize backend performance and ensure scalability under heavy loads.
Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
Implement strong security protocols and data protection strategies.
Design and manage SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases with efficient schemas and queries.
Guide and mentor junior developers; conduct code reviews and enforce development standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Keep up with emerging backend technologies and incorporate best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
8–10 years of backend development experience, with deep expertise in Node.js.
Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like Express.js.
Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and REST principles.
Advanced skills in SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) – query optimization, indexing, schema design.
Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) – aggregation, indexing, performance tuning.
Familiar with ORMs such as Sequelize and Mongoose.
Solid experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployments.
Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring capabilities.
