Primary Responsibilities :

Basic Functions and Responsibilities

  1. Greet guests entering the shop, inquire about their needs, and provide friendly and efficient assistance.
  2. Drive sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
  3. Remain knowledgeable about merchandise, promotions, and store policies, and respond to related inquiries.
  4. Provide recommendations based on customer preferences, needs, and desires.
  5. Deliver outstanding customer service.
  6. Document sales by creating or updating customer profile records.
  7. Manage financial transactions.
  8. Process payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and credit and debit cards.
  9. Reconcile receipts accurately and be accountable for financial transactions.
  10. Alert management to potential security issues.
  11. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
  12. Straighten, arrange, stock, and dust merchandise, maintain shelving areas as directed, and participate in designing displays.
  13. Keep clientele informed about preferred customer sales and future merchandise.
  14. Resolve customer issues and disputes.
  15. Prepare basic opening and closing reports.
  16. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Experience Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

  1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required (Degree or experience in Marketing or related field is a plus).
  2. At least 1 year of retail experience.
  3. Familiarity with POS (point of sale) systems and the ability to learn new technologies.
  4. Excellent verbal communication skills.
  5. Proficient in verbal and written English language.
  6. Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
  7. Outstanding customer service skills.
  8. Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  9. Familiarity with basic business and sales principles.
  10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing stressful environment.
