Job Title: Head Chef

Detailed Work Profile:
We are seeking a Head Chef to join our restaurant team as an integral member. This role extends beyond cooking and involves preparation, presentation, staff management, customer service, kitchen and inventory management, creativity, and teamwork. Key responsibilities include:
- Menu Preparation and Presentation:
- Proficiency in Italian cuisine, including a variety of pasta and pizza.
- Expertise in fast food items such as wraps, momos, and fries.
- Ability to create sweet treats like waffles, pancakes, crepes, and churros.
- Skill in preparing beverages, including coffee and shakes.
- Kitchen Setup and Management:
- Assist the owner in setting up kitchen essentials, including cutlery.
- Develop a comprehensive list of food items and ingredients, aiding in procurement.
- Prepare the kitchen before meal times.
- Decide food portions and maintain minimal food waste.
- Ensure proper preparation of all food to be served.
- Manage inventory for food items and ingredients.
- Oversee daily inventory requirements and ensure timely procurement.
- Regularly communicate inventory needs, new ideas, issues, and feedback with the owner.
- Staff Management:
- Manage, guide, and train a support chef.
- Maintain a clean kitchen at all times.
- Resolve internal and external conflicts involving staff, chefs, customers, suppliers, and other parties.
- Oversee other restaurant staff to ensure smooth daily operations and a pleasant customer experience.
- Work Conditions:
- Willingness to work nights and weekends.
- Comfortable with long shifts.
Experience Requirements:

Experience Required: 4-5 years in a restaurant/café kitchen environment

Education Profile Specifications:
- Graduation: Degree in Culinary Arts (preferred)

- Expertise in inventory management, portion mapping, cost control, and waste management.
Communication Skills:

- Ability to provide clear instructions and maintain a positive kitchen atmosphere.
- Languages Known: Hindi and basic understanding of English.
