Primary Responsibilities :
Job Title: Commis I (Bakery)
Department: Breads & Dessert
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of baked goods and desserts according to recipes and production schedules.
- Assist in the production of bread, pav, cakes, and other bakery items in bulk quantities.
- Ensure that all products meet the quality standards set by the bakery.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food preparation and handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Experience Requirements:

- Proven experience working in a bakery or pastry shop.
- Knowledge of baking techniques and a passion for creating high-quality baked goods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic culinary environment.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy trays of baked goods.
- Certification in baking or pastry arts is a plus.
Additional Information:

- The candidate may be required to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
