Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Specialist with a background in the Public Relations (PR) industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with a deep understanding of PR and media relations. This role requires excellent written and oral communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the PR industry to meet PR needs and objectives.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through networking and other sales tactics.
  • Achieve sales targets and write compelling business proposals.
  • Attend relevant events and conferences, acting as the perfect agency ambassador while networking.
  • Cultivate relationships with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs and conduct consultations and presentations to demonstrate our services and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop customized PR solutions that align with their goals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and areas for growth.
Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of sales experience within the PR industry.
  • Strong understanding of PR principles, media relations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Exceptional proposal writing, presentation, and pitching skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multiple tasks.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Existing network of contacts within the PR and media landscape.
  • Experience with pitching and securing media placements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
