Job Purpose:
This position will be responsible for working in close coordination with Co-Founders to develop deep and meaningful professional relationships with potential client contacts with the objective of selling the organization’s various software solutions and engineering services.
Core Principal Activities:
- Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads, and follow through for conversion to the organization’s software engineering services and solutions.
- Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, and company contacts, and determine which market strategies can be used to attract clients.
- Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the assigned area.
- Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors.
Other Activities:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align and fine-tune client success efforts.
- Continuously study competitors’ activities and suggest new products and services to management.
- Utilize the organization’s CRM system effectively for reporting client visits, tracking competitor activity, planning activities, etc.
Experience Requirements:
Qualifications and Skills:
- Engineering degree, preferably in Information Technology, with a master’s in business management being desirable.
- Experience in selling IT/Software Product Engineering Services.
- Knowledge of Networking, Storage, Virtualization, Security, Embedded Systems, AI/ML, Metaverse/Immersive Technologies is preferred.
- Ability to develop and sustain relationships at the CTO/VP of Engineering/Director of Engineering levels at prospective client companies.
- Superior presentation skills – both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in business software applications like MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Critical thinking, the ability to grasp information quickly, and the ability to communicate information clearly and concisely.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of client success experience in Information Technology.
Required Knowledge Domains:
- Networking, Storage, Virtualization, IoT, AI/ML, Metaverse/Immersive Technologies, Computer and Network Security.
Additional Knowledge Advantage:
- Experience in selling software solutions in the Cybersecurity, Multimedia, or Computer Graphics domains.
