Job Title: Assistant Manager - Finance and Accounts

Location: Gurgaon, India

Salary: ₹14-15 Lakhs per annum (gross)

Position Overview: Our Company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager - Finance and Accounts who is well-versed in managing financial records, VAT filings, and annual tax submissions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a strong grasp of VAT regulations and annual tax requirements. This is an urgent hire, and we are looking for candidates who can join immediately.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization.
  2. Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  3. Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and liaise with tax authorities as necessary.
  4. Reconcile financial transactions, including bank statements, invoices, and receipts.
  5. Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow statements to track financial performance.
  6. Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  7. Collaborate with the finance team to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  8. Assist in the completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting procedures.
  9. Ensure all financial processes and documentation adhere to regulatory standards.
  10. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as requested by management.
Experience Requirements:

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
  3. Proven experience working as a Bookkeeper or Accountant, preferably with VAT and tax filing experience.
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  5. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, Tally, and QuickBooks.
  6. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  7. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Familiarity with VAT regulations and annual tax filing requirements.
  10. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.

Experience: Relevant work experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant that aligns with the budgeted package of ₹14-15 Lakhs per annum.
