Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Team Leader to oversee our DTP (Desktop
Publishing) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the team's tasks,
ensuring timely completion, motivating and guiding the team, and maintaining high standards
of quality in our educational materials.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
● Task Management: Oversee and manage all tasks assigned to the DTP team,
ensuring they are completed accurately and on time.
● Leadership and Accountability: Take responsibility and accountability for the DTP
team’s tasks, own tasks and overall performance.
● Motivation and Guidance: Motivate the team and provide continuous guidance to
ensure high morale and productivity.
● Reporting: Collect and manage reports on team activities and performance.
● Performance Monitoring: Create and maintain performance reports for each team
member and the team as a whole.
● Task Assignment: Assign tasks to team members based on their skills and project
requirements.
● Training and Mentoring: Train new team members and provide ongoing mentoring
and shadowing to develop a strong, effective, and proactive team.
● Goal Achievement: Ensure the team meets its targets and objectives.
● Quality Control: Maintain high-quality standards in all published materials.
● Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to coordinate efforts and ensure
seamless workflow.
Qualifications and Skills:
● Proven experience as a Team Leader or in a supervisory role in a DTP or related field.
● Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and PageMaker.
● Strong leadership and team management skills.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
● Ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
● Strong problem-solving skills.
● Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
● Experience in educational publishing or a similar field is preferred.
● Proficiency in both Gujarati and English is a plus.
Education and Experience:
● A diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Desktop Publishing, or a related field.
● Previous experience as a DTP Operator with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
