Job Title: Chinese & North Indian Chef

Detailed Work Profile:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese and North Indian dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Develop and update menus, ensuring a diverse and appealing selection of dishes.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Kitchen Manager to order necessary supplies.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Experiment with new recipes and techniques to continually enhance the menu.
  • Handle customer feedback and ensure consistent quality in all dishes served.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
