Primary Responsibilities :
Job Title: Logistics Coordinator (AM/M)
Location: Bandra (W), Mumbai
Industry Preference: Manufacturing & Transport companies (Oil, Lubricant, Pharma, Chemical, FMCG, Paints)
Salary Budget: Up to 4 LPA
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Experience Required: 4+ years in logistics coordination

Job Responsibilities:
- MIS Reports Management: Prepare and manage MIS reports of transporters to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Rate Management: Maintain a comprehensive record of transportation rates Pan India, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of existing rates.
- Dispatch Coordination: Arrange tankers and trucks for the plant as per dispatch orders received from the local sales department. Implement schedules and accommodate any last-minute changes.
- Daily Reporting: Send daily logistics reports to all team members and management, highlighting key metrics and operational updates.
- Pending LR Management: Monitor pending Lorry Receipts (LRs) and communicate with operators to resolve any issues.
- Import Cargo Record Maintenance: Keep accurate records of all import cargo movements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Trailer Movement Monitoring: Oversee the movement of trailers from the Taloja factory to ensure timely and efficient logistics operations.
- Vendor Management: Vet all contractors and vendors thoroughly to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Transport Bill Vetting: Review and approve all transport bills to ensure accuracy and compliance with agreed terms.
- Road Permit Coordination: Work closely with the plant and local sales teams to arrange road permits as needed.
- Customer Satisfaction and Sales Support: Participate in corporate sales planning and ensure high customer satisfaction by providing comprehensive logistics services.
- Vehicle Operations Management: Act as the controlling head for vehicle operations, including tracking via GPS, unloading, route expense management, and vehicle trip sheet verification.
- Fleet and Garage Maintenance: Ensure the fleet of vehicles is always in operational condition. Coordinate with the garage mechanic for repairs and purchase of spare parts, with approvals from the Head Office.
- Report Submission: Submit daily reports on all inbound and outbound vehicles, dispatch details, logistics operations, and garage status to the Head Office.
- Monthly MIS Reports: Prepare and submit monthly MIS reports detailing logistics performance and any issues encountered.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Route Change Communication: Immediately report any changes in road directions to the relevant persons to ensure smooth operations.
- Communication Management: Ensure all communication is done via email, with relevant persons copied (cc) for transparency and record-keeping.
