Primary Responsibilities :

Position: Officer - Procurement

Job Description:

  • Vendor Acquisition: Identify and acquire new vendors within the food service industry, including hotels, restaurants, canteens, and large snack manufacturers.
  • Concept Selling: Present and sell the concept of biodiesel production from used cooking oil (UCO) to potential vendors.
  • Lead Generation: Generate leads through calls, contacts, and follow-up meetings.
  • Market Research: Conduct market studies to understand the business landscape and competitors.
  • Vendor Visits: Regularly visit both new and existing vendors to maintain relationships and ensure compliance with processes.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee vendor services, including the placement of drums and pickups, ensuring proper follow-up on any vendor queries.
  • Data Management: Maintain a detailed database of all vendor visits and interactions.
  • Travel Requirements: The role involves regular travel within Mumbai for concept selling and vendor management.

Salary: INR 25,000 per month
