Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction, coatings and inks, adhesives, rubber, and plastics sectors.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive products.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and goals.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential and existing clients.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with clients.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical assistance and product information to clients.
- Collaborate with the technical team to address client queries and provide solutions.
Sales Administration:
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and budgets.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
- Ensure timely delivery of products and services to clients.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Work with the product development team to provide feedback from clients and market research.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote company products and services.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the construction, coatings and inks, adhesives, rubber, or plastics industry.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of the performance materials industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of CRM software is a plus.
