Primary Responsibilities :

Job Title: Executive - R&D
Department: Research & Development
Qualification: MSc in SCT
Experience Required: 2 – 3 Years

Purpose:

To develop new designs and Bills of Materials (BOM) according to client requirements and company standards. Provide the production team with sufficient technical information to enable efficient lot production.

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Research & Development:

    • Conduct research on new advancements in product specifications, cost, production facilities, benchmarking, and raw material costs.
    • Develop new applications for existing products and ensure timely development.
  2. Customer Requirement Analysis:

    • Review and analyze customer technical requirements and provide feedback during the pre-order stage to streamline order processing.
  3. Product Evaluation & Upgradation:

    • Conduct periodic evaluations of existing products and recommend necessary upgrades based on findings.
  4. Sample Preparation & Trials:

    • Ensure timely arrangement and supervision of samples for production trials.
  5. Production Supervision:

    • Oversee the production process of newly developed designs and ensure alignment with R&D objectives.
  6. Compliance & Safety:

    • Follow safety protocols and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) rules and regulations during the development process.
  7. Reporting:

    • Prepare and submit daily work reports and MIS (Management Information System) reports to higher authorities.

Required Skills:

  1. Communication:

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information clearly.
  2. MS Office:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
  3. Change Management:

    • Ability to manage and adapt to changing project requirements and industry trends.
  4. Subject Matter Expertise:

    • Expertise in the field related to the specific product and industry to drive development initiatives.
  5. Strategic Thinking:

    • Ability to think strategically and foresee potential opportunities and challenges for product development.
