Project Lead for Waadaa Travel App
Job Description:
MGH Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Project Lead to oversee the development and management of the Waadaa Travel App
(WTA), a key initiative in our travel technology business. The successful
candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the successful integration and
deployment of the WTA platform in collaboration with our strategic partner.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Project Development: Oversee the
entire lifecycle of the Waadaa Travel App project, ensuring all deliverables
are met within the set timelines and budget.
·
Vendor Management: Engage with
international suppliers, to manage relationships and ensure seamless
integration of their technology into our platform.
·
Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate
cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring that all team
members are aligned with the project goals.
·
Technical Oversight: Provide guidance on
system integration, full-stack development, and troubleshooting complex
technical issues that may arise during the project.
·
Strategic Alignment: Align project
outcomes with MGH’s broader business objectives, focusing on maximizing revenue
opportunities and ensuring long-term sustainability.
·
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear
and effective communication with senior management and other stakeholders,
providing regular updates on project progress and any potential risks.
Required Qualifications:
·
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer
Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree would be
an added advantage.
·
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in
the travel technology industry, with in-depth knowledge of platforms like
Travelfusion or Travelport. Proven track record of successfully managing similar
travel-related projects. Previous experience working with travel agent systems,
including managing integrations, user interfaces, and ensuring the smooth
operation of booking platforms.

Communication Skills: Strong proficiency
in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to
effectively engage with senior management and international suppliers.

Technical Expertise: Strong technical
background, particularly in system integration, full-stack development, and the
ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead
and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time
and within budget.
·
Business Acumen: Deep understanding of
the business impact, with a focus on aligning project outcomes with the
company's strategic goals.

Preferred Qualifications:
· Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications.
· Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with travel industry regulations and compliance standards.
