Job Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Policy Development:
- Develop, implement, and manage HR policies and procedures aligned with the company’s objectives and labor regulations.
- Collaborate with management to create a strategic HR plan for workforce planning, development, and retention.
Recruitment & Staffing:
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes for plant-based roles, ensuring timely hiring of skilled labor and management staff.
- Manage onboarding, orientation, and training programs to ensure effective employee integration.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Serve as a point of contact for employees to address grievances, resolve disputes, and foster a positive working environment.
- Promote employee engagement activities, wellness programs, and safety initiatives.
Performance Management:
- Implement and manage performance evaluation systems, ensuring regular feedback and career development for employees.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and deliver targeted development programs.
Compliance & Labor Law:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Liaise with legal counsel to manage labor disputes, audits, and contract negotiations.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Oversee payroll processes, employee benefits administration, and compensation structures, ensuring market competitiveness.
- Handle employee attendance, time management, and leave policies.
HR Operations & Reporting:
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining accurate employee records, HRIS updates, and reporting.
- Prepare and present HR reports on turnover, recruitment, employee satisfaction, and compliance status to senior management.
Health & Safety:
- Collaborate with safety teams to ensure a safe working environment, monitor workplace safety standards, and manage compliance audits.
- Support implementation of safety training and emergency preparedness programs.
Employee Engagement & Communication:
- Foster an inclusive work culture through engagement activities, regular communication, and feedback systems.
- Develop initiatives to improve employee morale, reduce turnover, and enhance productivity.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure environments and maintain composure.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Candidates: Experience in a similar manufacturing/plant environment is highly desirable.
