Compensation: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Certification/Licensure in School Counseling (e.g., LPC, LMFT) preferred.
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in school counseling or related areas.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.

Job Responsibilities
Counseling Services
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for students.
- Address academic, personal, social, and emotional concerns.
- Develop and implement counseling plans tailored to students' needs.
Student Support
- Identify and support students with special needs or at-risk behaviors.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure student success.
- Promote a safe and inclusive school environment.
Guidance and Advisory
- Design and deliver guidance programs (e.g., study skills, career exploration).
- Provide academic advising and support with course selections.
- Organize workshops and seminars on mental health, wellness, and life skills.
Assessment and Referral
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
- Refer students to external resources (e.g., therapy, support groups) when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of counseling sessions.
Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators about student progress.
- Participate in student support teams and school meetings.
- Liaise with external agencies such as mental health services for additional support.
Other Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop counseling resources and materials.
- Participate in professional development programs.
- Support school-wide initiatives like bullying prevention and wellness campaigns.
