PGT Biology Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Delivery

   • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Biology for senior secondary classes (Grades XI and XII).
   • Ensure alignment with the CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum.

2. Classroom Management

   • Maintain discipline and create an inclusive, safe, and conducive learning environment.
   • Manage classroom dynamics effectively while addressing individual learning needs.

3. Assessment and Evaluation

   • Design and implement periodic assessments to evaluate student understanding.
   • Provide constructive feedback and support to improve academic performance.

4. Academic Enrichment

   • Organize extracurricular and co-curricular activities such as science fairs, seminars, and project-based learning initiatives.
   • Support students preparing for competitive exams like NEET or other biology-focused assessments.

5. Professional Collaboration

   • Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development programs.
   • Collaborate with other faculty members for interdisciplinary projects and teaching strategies.

Qualifications:

• Educational Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Botany or Zoology (from a recognized university).
  • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in regular mode.

• Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience teaching Biology at the senior secondary level is preferred.

• Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Biology subject matter and practical application.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in using modern teaching aids, including smart boards and online teaching platforms.
