Role Overview:
The Managing Director - Downstream will lead and drive the downstream operations of Conoil Plc, ensuring strategic growth, operational excellence, and market leadership. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the company's downstream strategic goals, aligning with the overall corporate vision.

- Ensure the effective and efficient management of downstream supply chain operations, including refining, distribution, marketing, and retail.

Commercial & Market Expansion:
- Lead commercial activities to drive sales, marketing, and revenue generation.

Team Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing executive leadership team.

Key Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum of 18 years of professional experience in the downstream Oil & Gas sector or related industries (e.g., FMCG, Telecom, Digital Payment Services).
- Track record of holding senior leadership roles in multinational corporations or top-tier organizations such as Total Energies, Shell, Indian Oil, Airtel, Nestlé, or Unilever.
Age:
- 45 to 58 years preferred; exceptional candidates above 58 will also be considered.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Exceptional strategic planning and execution capabilities.
- Strong commercial and operational acumen.
- Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Resilience, ethical conduct, and a self-starter attitude.
