We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and contributing to financial reporting and analysis.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Oversee invoice processing, payments, and collections for effective management of working capital.
- Taxation:
- Prepare and file GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Audit Support:
- Provide documentation and clarifications to internal and external auditors during audit processes.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Contribute to the preparation of budgets and forecasts, performing variance analysis to assist in strategic decision-making.
- General Ledger Accounting:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries and data are accurate.
- MIS Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports to track business performance and recommend improvements.
- Financial Analysis:
- Conduct ratio analysis, cost analysis, and profitability analysis to support business strategies.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and company policies, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Coordination:
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel.
- In-depth understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of ZOHO (preferred).
Qualifications:
- Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (intermediate level) with at least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance or an audit firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- Previous experience in financial reporting, taxation, and audit support is highly preferred.
