Position: Safety Officer
Location: Saudi Arabia
Contract Duration: 1 Year (Extendable)
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety procedures, protocols, and systems in compliance with Saudi Aramco Standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections at project sites to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Provide safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for all employees and contractors.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and Saudi Aramco safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams to incorporate safety requirements into project planning and execution.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards and ensure they are applied to all project activities.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including Aramco representatives, regarding safety performance and compliance.
- Develop and implement Emergency Response Plans (ERPs) and conduct regular drills.
- Monitor and ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety tools at the worksite.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Certifications:
- NEBOSH certification (Mandatory).
- PMP certification (Preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in safety management, specifically on Saudi Aramco projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards and safety protocols.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and training abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Language Proficiency:
- Proficient in English (mandatory).
- Arabic language skills (preferred but not required).
