Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Bakery Assistant to join our Research & Development team. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in developing new recipes from scratch and will bring a mix of creativity, patience, and technical knowledge to the role. You will work independently and collaborate with the team to develop innovative desserts and bakes that meet both aesthetic and flavor standards. The role requires a strong understanding of baking science and the ability to translate ideas into finished products.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new recipes and experiment with various ingredients to create unique baked goods
- Apply knowledge of baking science to troubleshoot and improve recipes
- Create visually appealing and presentable desserts and bakes
- Work independently, managing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Collaborate with the team to refine products based on feedback
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Adhere to food safety and quality standards
Job Requirements:
- Interest in developing recipes from scratch
- Perseverance and resilience in trial and error processes
- Strong creativity to turn concepts into finished products
- In-depth knowledge of Baking Science and theories
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible work schedule
- At least 6 months to 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a professional kitchen
- Education: Graduation in Hotel Management or Diploma in Patisserie
- Fresher candidates considered if they have a Hotel Management background
Location: Electronic City, Phase 1, Bangalore
Contract Duration: Minimum 2 years
Salary Range: 2 – 3 LPA
