Position: Halwai (Sweet Maker)
Number of Positions: 2 (One Main Halwai and One Helper/Bai)

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation of Sweets:

    • Prepare traditional sweets such as Cham Cham, Rasgulla, Milk Cake, etc.
    • Ensure the sweets have a superior aroma and authentic taste.
    • Use appropriate masalas, flavors, and follow authentic traditional recipes.
  2. Hygiene & Kitchen Safety:

    • Maintain excellent hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
    • Follow proper grooming standards including wearing caps, uniforms, and maintaining cleanliness.
    • Ensure that you and the team are clean, neat, and tidy.
    • Always perform a pooja before entering the kitchen.
    • Be aware of kitchen safety standards and adhere to them strictly.
  3. Teamwork & Behavior:

    • Work harmoniously with fellow team members.
    • Must be silent, understanding, cooperative, calm, wise, and peaceful.
    • Show respect, courtesy, and support to all staff members.
    • Maintain a charm on your face and demonstrate caring behavior with colleagues.
    • Ensure that bad language is not used in the workplace.
    • Maintain a positive attitude and create a friendly, harmonious work environment.
  4. Skills & Competency:

    • Must be thorough in the kitchen and demonstrate expertise in sweet-making techniques.
    • Possess strong skills and creativity in preparing traditional sweets.
    • Have a disciplined approach to work.
    • Must be talented, soft-spoken, and possess a good understanding of the job role.
  5. Fitness & Medical Requirements:

    • All staff members must undergo medical tests before joining to ensure they are fit for work.
    • Must be physically fit and healthy to perform the duties efficiently.
    • No consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed; anyone caught violating this policy will have their salary withheld.
  6. Workplace Ethics & Discipline:

    • Main Halwai should be strict and disciplined in managing the kitchen and team.
    • Be respectful towards the owner and follow company rules without fail.
    • Maintain transparency and integrity in all actions.
    • Staff should not mislead or misguide anyone; any such behavior will result in serious consequences.
  7. Salary & Employment Terms:

    • Salary will be paid on the 11th of every month.
    • No advance payments are provided to any staff member.
    • If someone leaves the company without serving the notice period, half-month salary will be deducted.
    • One-month notice period is compulsory before leaving the job.
  8. Long-term Commitment:

    • Our team has been stable for over 25 years, and we expect long-term commitment from our staff.
    • If anyone leaves the company for any reason, the management will ensure a smooth handover process.
  9. Security & Compliance:

    • Police verification will be conducted before and after joining.
    • Any form of misconduct, corruption, or violation of policies will lead to police involvement.
  10. Important Notes:

  • We do not have an advance policy, and no advances will be provided to staff.
  • It is mandatory to maintain professionalism and follow all company guidelines to maintain a positive work environment.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Previous experience in making traditional sweets is a must.
  • Ability to work in a team, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be punctual, disciplined, and professional.
  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene standards and safety practices.
  • Should be physically fit and willing to undergo medical checks.
