- Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to build the company’s US market presence in both distribution and grocery segments to achieve sales targets.
- Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with distributors, grocery retailers, wholesalers, and key stakeholders in the industry.
- Drive new business development by proactively seeking opportunities and engaging with potential clients.
- Collaborate with global teams to align strategies, share insights, and ensure brand consistency.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to build brand awareness.
- Negotiate and secure contracts with key clients and partners, ensuring long-term relationships.
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively, providing regular progress reports and insights to senior leadership.
- Champion the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in packaging and product offerings.
Qualifications:
- Experience in selling packaging directly to network distributors and grocery retailers, with a strong background in sales and business development and existing relationships in this segment.
- Established relationships and a deep understanding of the US distribution and grocery market, including key players, trends, and distribution channels.
- Product knowledge in reusable plastic and woven shopping bags, aluminum foil containers, trash bags, produce bags, catering products, and paper shopping bags, as key products alongside additional complementary products.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and build a market presence from the ground up.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a start-up-like environment.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to exceed targets.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time for client meetings, trade shows, and other business needs.
