Job Summary:
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by generating leads, analyzing client portfolios, and applying consultative selling techniques to identify and fulfill client needs. You will assist in preparing sales proposals, following up on networking interactions and leads, and closing sales. Additionally, you will maintain a database of sales leads, monitor competitors, and provide market intelligence for strategy development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads of companies involved in event management, tours and travel, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) activities.
- Analyze client portfolios to understand client segmentation and tailor sales strategies accordingly.
- Apply consultative selling techniques to identify clients' needs and offer suitable solutions.
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Assist in preparing sales proposals and presentations.
- Follow up on networking interactions and leads to nurture relationships and drive sales conversions.
- Follow up with clients to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Maintain a database of sales leads and update information regularly.
- Monitor competitors and customer demand to provide market intelligence for strategy development.
- Provide email, social media, or telephone responses to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide first-level responses to clients' requests and requirements, escalating as necessary to ensure prompt resolution.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in event management, tours and travel, or the MICE industry.
- Strong understanding of consultative selling techniques and the ability to identify clients' needs effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of the event management, tours and travel, MICE industry, competitors, and market trends is desirable.
Salary: As per the candidate's experience and business approach (+ incentives)
