Job Title: Assistant Manager – Business Development
Job Location - Richmond Circle, Bangalore
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in proposal development, tender bidding or business development support and client coordination in Construction/Engineering Consulting Industry
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Strong knowledge of procurement portals (CPPP, GeM, ADB, World Bank, etc.).
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Business Development to manage the end-to-end proposal and tendering process. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in preparing high-quality proposals, coordinating with internal teams, and managing submission requirements across national procurement platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Proposal Development & Coordination
o Prepare comprehensive proposals and documentation as per instructions from the Business Development Lead.
o Draft technical proposals in compliance with RFP/tender requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
2. Inter-Departmental Collaboration
o Liaise effectively with internal departments (technical, legal, finance, HR) to collect and compile relevant data, credentials, and support documentation.
3. Tender & Procurement Monitoring
o Track and monitor relevant tender and procurement portals (e.g., CPPP, GeM, ADB, World Bank).
o Conduct preliminary evaluation , prepare summary, and contribute to Go/No-Go decision-making through detailed opportunity assessments.
4. Proposal Management Tools
o Maintain and regularly update Go/No-Go sheets, tender logs and update on daily basis, proposal folders and organizational credentials.
o Archive proposal-related materials for easy retrieval and reference.
5. Knowledge Management
o Organize and update a central repository of knowledge assets such as past proposals, templates, case studies, and capability statements.
o Assist in post-submission activities including clarifications, revisions, and client follow-ups.
6. Client & Stakeholder Engagement
o Attend client meetings and presentations as required by the BD Lead.
o Foster positive working relationships with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth proposal development and timely approvals.
o Problem Solving Capabilities

• Exposure to multi-country tendering processes or donor-funded projects.
