Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive with a hands-on approach to online bidding portals, including platforms like Upwork, Guru, Freelancer, PPH, Elance, LinkedIn, etc. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, client handling experience, and a proven track record in lead generation and revenue growth. If the candidate doesn’t have IT services industry experience, a background in sales, marketing, or insurance sales will be considered.

- Strategic Planning & Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and business growth.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
- Lead & Sales Team Management: Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve targets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively across departments to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
- Industry Trend Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends and leverage this knowledge to spot new growth opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales and business development in the IT or related industry.
- Hands-on experience with online bidding portals like Upwork, Guru, Freelancer, PPH, Elance, LinkedIn, etc.
- Strong experience in lead generation and revenue generation through online platforms.
- Proposal writing and email marketing expertise.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of industries such as software development, digital marketing, gaming, and branding.
- Strategic thinking with excellent problem-solving skills.
Candidate Evaluation Criteria:
- Experience with Bidding Portals: Verify the candidate’s activity on platforms like Upwork, Guru, Freelancer, PPH, and LinkedIn. Check the profile for job postings, hours worked, etc. (For reference, see our Upwork profile).
- Target Achievement: Ask the candidate about their monthly or quarterly targets for lead generation and revenue generation. Ensure these details are clearly mentioned in the description.
- Sales Involvement: Clarify if the candidate is focused solely on bidding and lead generation or if they are involved in end-to-end sales, including technical discussions with clients, discovery calls, client meetings, and sales conversions.
- Bidding Experience & Responsibility: We are looking for a candidate who can handle responsibility, manage tasks independently, and demonstrate strong exposure to bidding portals.
