Job Overview:
We are looking for a Deputy Manager – Sales to support and drive revenue growth in Rooms, Banquets, and Food & Beverage sales. The ideal candidate should have a proactive approach, strong client management skills, and the ability to assist in achieving sales targets through strategic planning and execution.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and target potential clients for corporate, banquets, and F&B sales.
- Handle lead generation, client follow-ups, and negotiations to close deals.
- Work closely with the Assistant GM and sales team to drive business growth.
- Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event organizers.
Client Relationship Management:
- Ensure customer satisfaction and client retention through effective service and follow-ups.
- Assist in managing key accounts and acquiring new corporate clients.
- Address client inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure smooth execution of bookings.
Team Support & Coordination:
- Support the sales team in meeting targets and achieving overall department goals.
- Work closely with the operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior sales executives.
Reporting & Strategic Planning:
- Track and analyze sales data, preparing monthly/quarterly reports.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management.
Promotional Activities & Networking:
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and offers.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 5-8 years of experience in sales, business development, or hospitality sales.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Goal-oriented and proactive in achieving sales targets.
