Job Overview:

We are looking for a Deputy Manager – Sales to support and drive revenue growth in Rooms, Banquets, and Food & Beverage sales. The ideal candidate should have a proactive approach, strong client management skills, and the ability to assist in achieving sales targets through strategic planning and execution.

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  1. Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  2. Identify and target potential clients for corporate, banquets, and F&B sales.
  3. Handle lead generation, client follow-ups, and negotiations to close deals.
  4. Work closely with the Assistant GM and sales team to drive business growth.
  5. Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event organizers.

Client Relationship Management:

  1. Ensure customer satisfaction and client retention through effective service and follow-ups.
  2. Assist in managing key accounts and acquiring new corporate clients.
  3. Address client inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure smooth execution of bookings.

Team Support & Coordination:

  1. Support the sales team in meeting targets and achieving overall department goals.
  2. Work closely with the operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  3. Assist in training and mentoring junior sales executives.

Reporting & Strategic Planning:

  1. Track and analyze sales data, preparing monthly/quarterly reports.
  2. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
  3. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management.

Promotional Activities & Networking:

  1. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
  2. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and offers.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 5-8 years of experience in sales, business development, or hospitality sales.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Goal-oriented and proactive in achieving sales targets.
