Job Overview:
We are looking for a General Manager – HR to lead and oversee all human resource functions within the organization. The candidate will be responsible for strategic HR planning, recruitment, compliance, employee engagement, and ensuring smooth HR operations. The role demands a strong leader with expertise in HR policies, talent management, and employee relations.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Operations:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and policies aligned with the company’s goals.
- Ensure compliance with hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures, and labor laws.
- Manage all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, payroll, and performance management.
- Develop and oversee succession planning and leadership development programs.
- Collaborate with senior management for organizational planning and workforce structuring.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process to hire the best talent.
- Manage and streamline employee onboarding, induction, and training programs.
- Act as a final decision-maker in hiring key staff in consultation with management.
- Ensure timely compliance of HR reports and documentation.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Develop and execute employee engagement programs to enhance motivation and productivity.
- Act as a mediator in resolving employee conflicts and grievances.
- Ensure a positive work environment that aligns with company culture and values.
- Conduct regular HR briefings and meetings with all department heads.
- Foster team development, performance coaching, and mentorship programs.
Compensation & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and payroll processing.
- Monitor and implement compensation, rewards, and benefits strategies.
- Work with the finance department to ensure accurate payroll and budget planning.
HR Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze employee performance metrics and retention data.
- Prepare monthly HR reports and recommendations for management.
- Lead initiatives for cost-effective workforce planning and training programs.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years of HR experience in a managerial role, preferably in hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work with multiple departments and handle HR operations efficiently.
- Strong expertise in recruitment, payroll management, and employee engagement.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Qualification:
- MBA in Human Resources or equivalent HR qualification.
- Certifications in HRM, Talent Management, or Labor Laws are a plus.
