Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive sales growth and lead our IT Hardware business in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT hardware sales, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the Nigerian market. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team of sales professionals, and expanding market share.

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue growth.
  2. Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed sales targets.
  3. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
  4. Market Analysis and Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, adjusting strategies accordingly.
  5. Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of IT hardware products, including laptops, monitors, printers, and accessories.
  6. Sales Performance Monitoring: Track sales performance, analyze data, and implement improvements to enhance productivity.
  7. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and reports for accurate sales projections.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the IT hardware industry.
  3. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with a strategic mindset.
  4. Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of IT hardware trends, competitors, and market dynamics.
  5. Language: Fluency in English; proficiency in local Nigerian languages (Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo) is an advantage.
