Experience Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance management.

  2. Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial regulations.

  3. Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

  4. Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) and provide analysis to senior management.

  5. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.

  6. Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads.

  7. Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring timely compliance with regulatory requirements.

  8. Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, recommending corrective actions as needed.

  9. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.

  10. Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, including financial analysis, forecasting, and risk management.

  11. Collaborate with other departments (finance, operations, legal) to support business initiatives.

  12. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies.

  13. Maintain both digital and physical financial records.

  14. Issue invoices to customers and external partners as needed.

  15. Review and file payroll documentation.

  16. Prepare and discuss monthly financial reports with management.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience: Relevant experience in accounting and financial management.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles (GAAP).

    • Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP).

    • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.

  • Key Competencies:

    • Leadership and team management skills.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Ability to handle confidential financial information.

  • Communication: Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
