Summary:
The candidate is responsible for growing net new business and new pipeline. They must have a deep understanding of the market and competition to develop winning sales strategies and apply sales and solution expertise.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Identify potential clients using LinkedIn and other lead generation tools.
Personalized Outreach: Craft targeted emails and messages to address cybersecurity challenges faced by prospects.
Partnerships & Alliances: Collaborate with technology partners to offer bundled solutions; engage with industry associations and participate in networking events.
Sales Strategy Implementation: Use CRM tools and analytics to develop and execute data-driven sales strategies.
Client Relationship Management: Strengthen existing client relationships through regular reviews and security assessments.
Market Research: Conduct research using cybersecurity intelligence tools to analyze industry trends, threats, and competitor activities.
Sales Reporting: Prepare sales reports highlighting key metrics such as conversion rates, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
Team Support: Provide technical training on cybersecurity products and mentor junior sales staff.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on cybersecurity products and educate clients on their benefits and compliance standards.
Negotiation & Closing: Assist in contract negotiations and ensure compliance with industry regulations like GDPR and CCPA.
Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze client feedback to improve product offerings and enhance services.
Event Participation: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Administrative Tasks: Manage CRM data entry, contract management, and record-keeping of sales activities.
Required Skills:
Corporate sales experience with a cybersecurity background
Proficiency in CRM tools for pipeline tracking and reporting
Strong MS Office skills
Understanding of account planning, pricing methods, and bill of materials
Knowledge of internal approval processes and expense management systems
