Job Summary
A fast-growing device protection and warranty service provider is looking for a Claim Adjudicator to review and process claims related to accidental damage and extended warranty for consumer electronics. This role requires a sharp eye for detail, a strong understanding of policy terms, and excellent communication skills to deliver accurate and fair claim resolutions.

Key Responsibilities
Claims Processing
Review, assess, and adjudicate claims for accidental damage and extended warranty coverage.
Validate submitted claims by reviewing customer statements, invoices, images, and technical/repair reports.
Interpret policy terms, conditions, and exclusions to make sound adjudication decisions.
Calculate claim amounts and any applicable excess payments according to coverage guidelines.
Document decisions with clarity and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards.
Customer Interaction
Communicate with claimants to request missing documentation or clarify claim-related information.
Provide timely updates on claim statuses and explain decisions with professionalism and empathy.
Collaboration & Verification
Coordinate with internal operations, customer service teams, and claim management systems.
Liaise with repair centers and third-party vendors to verify service costs and ensure service standards.
Required Experience & Skills
At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the insurance or electronics warranty/repair sector.
Strong familiarity with accidental damage and extended warranty policies.
Proficient in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical, documentation, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
High attention to accuracy, compliance, and consumer protection standards.
A valid driving license is a plus.
Preferred Backgrounds
Candidates with experience in the following will be given preference:
Indian insurance companies dealing with mobile/device protection.
Retailers offering extended warranty/accidental damage protection plans.
Third-party TPAs or claim processing firms in the consumer electronics domain.
