Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our Logistics Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, processing invoices, and assisting in budgeting activities. This role requires close collaboration with both logistics and finance teams to ensure cost efficiency, compliance, and timely reporting.



Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record-Keeping

  • Maintain and update financial records and transactions related to logistics.

  • Reconcile accounts, ledgers, and bank statements regularly.

  • Ensure accuracy in data entry and documentation.

  • Utilize accounting software such as E-freight and Tally ERP.

2. Invoice Processing

  • Accurately process vendor and customer invoices.

  • Verify freight, shipping charges, and other logistics costs.

  • Ensure invoices are in line with contracts and purchase orders.

3. Budgeting & Reporting

  • Assist in the preparation of logistics budgets.

  • Monitor actual vs. budgeted expenses and report variances.

  • Generate periodic financial reports for management review.

4. Taxation & Compliance

  • Ensure GST compliance and other applicable tax obligations related to logistics.

  • Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.

  • Support the finance team during statutory audits and internal reviews.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in logistics or supply chain.

  • Proficiency in Tally ERP and E-freight systems.

  • Strong understanding of GST and other tax regulations.

  • Good analytical and reconciliation skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.


Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in logistics or transport accounting.

  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools.

  • Strong communication and time management skills.
