Ship Broker

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively source and fix vessels and cargoes by liaising between shipowners, operators, and charterers

• Maintain effective and ongoing communication with both owners and charterers

• Draft and finalize fixture notes and charter parties

• Resolve post-fixture operational issues and coordinate closely with relevant stakeholders

• Liaise with agents, post-fixture desks, and fellow brokers for seamless execution

• Conduct market research and engage in both local and international business development

• Build on the company’s profile through networking and fact-finding to identify new clients and opportunities

Key Qualifications:

• Graduate degree (minimum) with strong English communication skills (written and verbal)

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in dry bulk chartering/operations

• Ability to work independently and manage chartering processes without formal onboarding

• Existing network with charterers or owners is advantageous but not mandatory
