Job Summary:
The MIS Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's Management Information System (MIS). The role involves data management, reporting, and ensuring data integrity and security. The MIS Executive will support various departments by providing timely and accurate reports and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management:
- Collect, process, and manage data from various sources.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Maintain and update the MIS database.
Reporting:
- Generate and distribute regular reports and dashboards to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop customized reports based on departmental requirements.
- Provide insights and analysis based on data trends.
System Management:
- Oversee the daily operation of the MIS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the MIS.
- Coordinate with IT for system upgrades and maintenance.
Data Analysis:
- Perform data analysis to support business decision-making.
- Identify trends and patterns in data to provide actionable insights.
- Work with various departments to understand their data needs.
Compliance and Security:
- Ensure data compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Implement and maintain data security measures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity.
Training and Support:
- Provide training to staff on how to use the MIS.
- Offer support and assistance to users facing issues with the MIS.
- Create user manuals and documentation.
Experience Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an MIS Executive or in a similar role.
- Proficient in database management and data analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with SQL and other data query languages.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MIS software and tools.
- Certification in data management or related fields.
- Knowledge of ERP systems.
Work Environment:
- Office-based.
- May require occasional travel.
