Position: Technical Superintendent

Location: Libya 

Company: GNMTC

Salary: $50,000 to $55,000 per annum

Contract Type: Expat contract with annual one air ticket and medical care insurance. Initial 1-month assessment period. Termination is subject to 1 month's notice from either party.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the technical operations of the company’s tanker fleet.
  • Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and standards.
  • Monitor vessel performance and maintenance schedules.
  • Implement and manage AMOS or ship shore systems.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure efficient vessel operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of vessels.
  • Develop and maintain technical budgets.
Experience Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Chief Engineer on tankers.
  • Experience as a Technical Superintendent in the tanker marine industry.
  • Proficiency in AMOS and/or ship shore systems.
  • Fluent in English with excellent IT skills.
  • Recognized Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (COC).
