Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Pattern Cutter to join our small in-house team in Amman, Jordan. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating and developing patterns, particularly in high-end fashion. They should be adept at handling delicate fabrics and complex designs, ensuring that all patterns and grading meet required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and develop patterns for all company clothing, including trousers, dresses, corseted tops, etc.
Ensure patterns and grading are produced to the required standards and proportional before going into production.
Work with machinists to make samples and alter standard patterns to fit private clientele.
Conduct fit sessions, assess first samples, and manage pattern amendments efficiently within the timeline.
Ensure a keen eye for detail, shape, and proportion.
Collaborate effectively with the team, prioritizing tasks and maintaining high organizational standards.

Experience Requirements:

Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years experience as a Pattern Cutter/Technician with a solid multi-product background in dresses, casual/tailored outerwear, and separates.
Proven track record of taking garments/patterns from development through to production.
Strong technical skills with attention to detail, ideally with experience in a high-end/luxury environment.
Good knowledge of fabrics and their qualities affecting the pattern.
Experience in fitting garments and amending patterns ready for production.
Highly organized team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Fluent in English.
Able to handle western patterns and work with embroidered/delicate fabrics.
Experience in a boutique/high-end environment is preferred.
Ability to work well under pressure.

Preferred Background:

Candidates with experience in high-reputation companies.
Those who have worked with designs featuring more cuts rather than uniform/jersey/sportswear patterns.
