Role Description:

The candidate will design parts and products as per customer requirements within agreed timelines. They will prepare complete APQP documentation, attend tool trials, and solve product-related problems for both internal and external customers.

First 90 Days Challenges:

• Familiarize with company processes
• Begin designing parts and products according to customer requirements
• Attend and contribute to tool trials
• Start problem-solving product issues

Part of the NPDE Team as a Design Engineer (Mech).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must-Haves (Needs):

• Education: B.E. (Mech), B.E. (Prodn), B.E. (Mechatronics)
• Relevant Experience: Auto Ancillary experience in a design department
• Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of Plastic, Metal, and Rubber Materials
  • Design Calculations & Verification techniques
  • Knowledge of Linear & Rotary Mechanisms
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks 2D/3D CAD (All modules, ePDM, FEA analysis)
  • Mold Flow, Ansys
  • Experience with SAP ERP or an equivalent system

Good to Haves (Wants):

• Intermediate Drawing exam pass with B & above grades
• Knowledge of Molding Process
• Exposure to Statistical Tools
