Sales/Marketing Executive

Key Responsibilities / Job Description:

• Liaise with customers regarding local and overseas sales.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
• Attend and respond to all enquiries, prepare and follow-up on quotations/proforma invoices.
• Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Update clients about the progress of service jobs, sales orders, and promote other services.
• Follow-up with customers for payments after job/sales completion.
• Track all sales enquiries, quotations, sales orders, job orders, and prepare reports on sales performance for management.
• Train sales staff to ensure adequate and prompt responses to enquiries, quotations, and purchase orders.
• Perform any other duties as advised by the Business Development Manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the marine/shipping industry.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and sales techniques.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze market data and create actionable strategies.
