Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager - Sales and Sponsorship to join our Sales and Sponsorship department in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ad sales, media sales, and experience in TV and print industries. This role requires a driven individual who is excellent in communication and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets in ad sales, media sales, TV, and print.
- Identify, prospect, and establish new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
- Manage existing client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction by providing top-notch service.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate deals, and close sales contracts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with the company's objectives and ensure seamless execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide insights to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, developments, and new media opportunities.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in ad sales, media sales, TV, and print industries.
- Education: Graduate/Post-Graduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and Sri Lankan.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Key Competencies: Strong knowledge of ad sales, media sales, TV, and print. Must have a results-driven attitude, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Personal Attributes: High level of professionalism, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and in a team, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary Range: USD 400 – 500 per month
