Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Officer to promote our cold-pressed oil brand in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and relationship-building skills, have a passion for health and wellness, and demonstrate a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive market.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve assigned sales targets for cold-pressed oil products in the designated territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers, including retailers, distributors, wholesalers, and institutions such as hotels, restaurants, and cafes.
- Conduct market research to understand customer preferences and needs for cold-pressed oils.
- Educate customers on the benefits of cold-pressed oils and their advantages over conventional cooking oils.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements with customers.
- Ensure timely product delivery and foster positive relationships with customers.
- Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collect and analyze market data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Participate in marketing and promotional initiatives to boost brand visibility.
- Maintain accurate sales records and submit timely sales reports.
- Travel as required within the assigned territory.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Achieve or surpass monthly/quarterly sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Increase brand awareness and market share for cold-pressed oils.
- Secure new customer accounts and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Maintain a customer retention rate of 70-80%.
- Submit accurate and timely sales reports.
- Achieve a customer satisfaction rating of 100%.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the FMCG or edible commodity sector.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated, organized, and driven to achieve results.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CRM software is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Familiarity with the market in the assigned territory is preferred.
- A passion for health and wellness, particularly with knowledge of cold-pressed oils, is an advantage.
