Primary Responsibilities :

Job Title: Principal Associate / Dy.Practice Head – NCLT

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced lawyer to lead our Insolvency & Bankruptcy practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience with the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, NCLT regulations, and corporate law, and must be duly enrolled with the Bar Council of India. Responsibilities include managing a team of lawyers, providing legal advice to clients, and handling complex litigation cases related to insolvency and bankruptcy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the NCLT practice and lead a team of lawyers
  • Advise clients on NCLT regulations, insolvency & bankruptcy law, and corporate law
  • Handle complex litigation cases representing clients before the NCLT, NCLAT, IRP, IBBI, and other forums
  • Draft and file petitions, applications, claims, complaints, and other legal documents as required
  • Attend court hearings, COC meetings, mediations, and arbitrations on behalf of clients
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, industry experts, and other stakeholders
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in the law and advise clients accordingly
  • Supervise and mentor junior lawyers in the team
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards
Experience Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • LLB or LLM degree from a recognized university
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in court practice
  • Experience in managing a team of lawyers
  • Excellent knowledge of NCLT regulations, insolvency & bankruptcy law, and corporate law
  • Articulation, business, and finance acumen
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Sound judgment and analytical skills

Requirement: Membership of the Bar Council of India is mandatory
