Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist in Pumps and Rotating Machinery to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in the design, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of pumps and rotating machinery. This role is critical to ensuring optimal equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency across our operations.

Technical Expertise:
- Analyze, design, and recommend improvements for pump systems and rotating machinery.
- Select appropriate pumps and machinery based on system requirements.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs to enhance equipment performance.
Operational Support:
- Conduct performance evaluations and diagnostics on pumps and rotating equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Monitor vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and other predictive maintenance techniques.
Project Management:
- Lead or participate in installation, commissioning, and start-up of new equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for upgrades or modifications.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain detailed records of equipment specifications, maintenance activities, and performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
Training and Development:
- Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance and operations teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in pumps and rotating machinery.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in pumps and rotating machinery, including design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in centrifugal, positive displacement, and other pump types.
- Familiarity with rotating machinery such as compressors, turbines, and gearboxes.
- Proficiency in tools like CAD software, vibration analysis, and condition monitoring systems.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., API, ISO standards) are a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Key Competencies:
- Strong understanding of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance tools and techniques.
