Steam Turbine Specialist

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation & Commissioning:

   • Supervise the installation and commissioning of steam turbines at client sites.
   • Ensure adherence to design specifications and operational standards.

2. Maintenance & Repair:

   • Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of turbines.
   • Troubleshoot mechanical and performance issues, proposing corrective actions.

3. Performance Optimization:

   • Analyze turbine performance data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
   • Implement process improvements for enhanced output and energy efficiency.

4. Documentation & Reporting:

   • Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
   • Provide detailed technical reports and recommendations to clients or management.

5. Compliance & Safety:

   • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
   • Train and guide operational teams on turbine safety and best practices.

6. Liaison & Coordination:

   • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and vendors for smooth project execution.
   • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications in turbine operations and maintenance.

• Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience working with steam turbines (3-20 MW range).
  • Hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, and optimization.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in turbine alignment, vibration analysis, and thermal efficiency.
  • Familiarity with turbine control systems and automation tools.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
