Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Network Design and Implementation:

   • Design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructure.
   • Ensure network architecture meets the organization's requirements for performance, security, and scalability.

2. Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

   • Perform regular network maintenance and upgrades.
   • Troubleshoot network issues and outages.
   • Provide Level 3 support and troubleshooting to resolve complex network issues.

3. Network Security:

   • Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
   • Monitor network security and proactively address potential security vulnerabilities.

4. Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

   • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
   • Optimize network performance and perform capacity planning.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Maintain up-to-date network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
   • Generate regular reports on network performance, security, and capacity.

6. Collaboration and Support:

   • Work closely with IT teams, including system administrators and application developers, to support network requirements.
   • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers for network-related services and support.

7. Training and Development:

   • Mentor and train junior network engineers.
   • Stay updated with the latest network technologies and industry trends.
