Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Field Supervisor / Senior Project Engineer with expertise in Instrument Engineering for our Oil & Gas projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Instrumentation, DCS systems, and extensive experience with Saudi Aramco standards
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the execution of Instrumentation and DCS systems installations.
- Ensure all work complies with Saudi Aramco standards and relevant industry codes.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to meet project objectives.
- Coordinate with other engineers, contractors, and field personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
- Perform site inspections and evaluations to verify work quality and safety.
- Oversee the commissioning and troubleshooting of Instrumentation and DCS systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and field staff.
- Review and approve technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Liaise with clients, including Saudi Aramco representatives, to ensure project specifications and standards are met.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum Experience: 10+ years in Instrument Engineering with a focus on Oil & Gas projects.
- Industry Experience: Experience in Saudi Aramco projects is a must.
- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with Instrumentation systems, DCS (Distributed Control Systems), and project engineering.
- Education: A degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
- Standards Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Saudi Aramco standards and regulations.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and lead a team of engineers and field personnel.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and client interactions.
- Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the commissioning and startup of Instrumentation systems.
- Familiarity with HAZOP studies and risk management.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental compliance in the Oil & Gas industry.
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term
