Primary Responsibilities :
State Head – Insurance Sales (Agency Channel)
Role & Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead regional operations for multiple states, including Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab. The ideal candidate will drive business growth in motor insurance sales via the Agency Channel (POSP Model)
Experience Requirements:
Team Building & Management:
- Recruit and manage a team of Relationship Managers, Area Managers, Sales Managers, and Branch Managers.
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding of POSPs (Point of Sales Persons) to drive business generation.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure team alignment with business goals.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets in general insurance, focusing on motor insurance.
- Monitor team performance to deliver consistent sales output.
- Maintain and follow processes to drive efficiency and maximize results.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to ensure sustained business growth.
- Provide training and motivation to the team and POSPs to enhance productivity and achieve business objectives.
Operational Excellence:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products and services.
- Utilize technology and innovative tools to streamline operations and improve outcomes.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Extensive experience in general insurance sales, particularly in the motor insurance sector.
- Proven expertise in managing large teams and handling agency channel sales.
- Strong portfolio management experience, capable of driving business volumes of 10-100 crore premiums per month.
- Exceptional leadership, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills.
