Job Description: Sales Engineer
Position: Sales Engineer – USA and Americas
Reporting to: Business Development Director
Location: McLean, VA, USA
Responsibilities
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the USA and, potentially, international markets.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers to promote and sell technical products.
Sales and Marketing:
- Collaborate with the marketing department to implement sales strategies.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, seminars, and promotional events.
- Contribute to the creation of marketing materials.
Technical Expertise:
- Act as a technical consultant, understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable solutions.
- Confidently discuss technical aspects of products and services with clients.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service, address inquiries, generate quotes, and offer technical support.
- Effectively use CRM tools to follow up on all sales leads and maintain records.
Product Presentations and Demonstrations:
- Prepare and deliver product presentations and demonstrations to potential and existing clients.
- Initially support the experienced team and gradually lead presentations independently.
Market Analysis:
- Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies within relevant sectors.
- Provide relevant reports and insights to the sales team.
Experience Requirements:
Requirements
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
Experience:
- Prior experience in selling technical products and services is required.
Work Authorization:
- Must hold U.S. Citizenship.
Technical Knowledge:
- Strong technical acumen with familiarity in electronic components and systems.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
Flexibility:
- Willingness to travel within the USA and occasionally abroad for client meetings and industry events.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders and team members.
Self-Driven:
- Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial drive to learn sales processes and master the product portfolio.
Data-Oriented:
- Proficiency in using business systems (CRM, ERP, and data analysis).
- Ability to produce reports and client quotes with accuracy.

- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with a willingness to share knowledge and achieve common goals.
